Help the Newspaper Whilst You Christmas Shop!
Hi Issy and everyone else.
Can I just say that I have used easyfundraising at the ski club, where I used to be a member. It really is as easy as it looks and we raised hundreds of pounds.
You get a donation for the Newspaper, for doing something you are going to do anyway and without it costing you a bean!! I urge everyone to sign up.
Every little helps!

Hi everyone
Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be collecting free donations for Wisbech & District Talking Newspaper?
There are over 3,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1. Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/wisbechdistricttalkingnewspaper/ and join for free.
2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.
3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
There are no catches or hidden charges and Wisbech & District Talking Newspaper will be really grateful for your donations.
Thank you for your support.

A Date For Your Diary…
Hi All
We will, again, be having a stall at this year’s Rose Fair – on Saturday 2 July. So, we will be looking for volunteers to do a 2-hour stint on the stall, as well as helping setting up and clearing.
We will, again, be having a bric-a-brac stall, together with our ‘alternative’ raffle, and would be grateful if you could start looking for items for the stall. You can leave them at Peckover, or with one of the Committee members.
Thanking you all in advance.
Best wishes.
Ladies Who Lunch
Today, Thursday 4 February 2016, Ann Shippey, Chairman and Isobel Shippey, Secretary, attended the Gorefield Bowls Club Luncheon at The West End Restaurant in Wisbech as monies raised by the raffle was to be donated to the Wisbech & District Talking Newspaper. A record breaking £275 was raised!
Isobel gave a short talk about the history of the Talking Newspaper and what we do now, as well as putting an appeal out for more volunteers, as we are currently looking for more people to help with the copying and dispatching of our recordings.
